I am Catherine O'Donnell, CPDT.  I'm the owner and training director at The Ranch for Canine Training and Behavior
I am a Certified Professional dog trainer, an AKC Evaluator (#87457) and the very proud owner of 4 Rottweilers, LunaBella, Sue, Moonshine, and Paisley.
I train, compete and handle my own dogs to work and title in Conformation, Obedience, Rally, Sieger Shows, Dock Diving and Therapy Work. 

I am a current Member of  16 years with The American Rottweiler Club.
I am active in several areas of Rottweiler Rescue and served the American Rottweiler Club Rescue Committee, and as a behavioral consultant. 

I began in Rottweilers 20 years ago. In 2003, I brought home my 1st Rottweiler and my heart dog, "Cash",  

Man In Black of Olympus Walk CD, RA, HIC, CGC, RTD. Cash was my Novice A dog and best friend.
Cash and I paved some incredible roads together and made some wonderful friends along the way.

In 2008 I brought home LunaBella, Multi V1, BOSS, GCH CH Deerwood's Lasso The Moon! CD, RE, BN, CA, DJ, HIC, CGC, RTD
LunaBella was my 1st show and competition hopeful. Hopes turned into dreams come true! LunaBella turned out to be everything anyone could hope for in a dog. 

She is full of versatility, biddability, confidence and clear-headed all wrapped up in a beautiful package.
She and I compete in Conformation, Sieger Shows, Obedience, Rally, Dock Diving and stay active in her Therapy Dog Work.
LunaBella is certified through Therapy Dogs International and has been active since 2010.


In 2013, I bred my 1st litter. Sired by  "Duke" GOLD GCH CH Duke of Rott'n Acres CD, RE, CI, CI-T, CGC.
LunaBella x Duke produced 8 beautiful and wonderfully tempered puppies. As a Breeder, I strive to make a positive contribution to the breed; to produce healthy, conformationally correct dogs with a solid Rottweiler temperament.  From this litter, I kept 2 puppies "Sue" and "Moonshine".  This litter, alone, made Luna an American Rottweiler Club Bronze Producer. 

This litter made Luna an ARC Bronze Producer with just one litter. This breeding produced the #1 Rottweiler in AKC and ARC Obedience (2020)  The #1 Rottweiler in Barn Hunt along with versatile titles among Conformation, Obedience, Protection Sport, Rally, Dock Diving, Barn Hunt, Nose Work, Lure Coursing, and Therapy Work. 

 

My dogs are my life, my living business card and my PR team. A surefire way to tell if a trainer and breeder walks the talk and is worth their salt, simply meet their dogs.
